Exterior Wipe Down
Here is a breakdown of the exterior dry cleaning and spot treatment process to maintain the aircraft's appearance between full washes:
Dry Cleaning & Spot Treatment: Remove bugs, grease, exhaust soot, oil residue, and light environmental contamination accumulated since the last full wash.
Targeted Hand Wipe-Down: Hand wipe leading edges, the nose, engine inlets and cowlings, landing gear doors, and high-contact panels.
Aviation-Safe Materials: Utilize approved aviation-safe cleaners and microfiber materials to protect the aircraft's finish.
Service Scope: Note that this routine maintenance reduces buildup but does not replace a comprehensive soap-and-water wash or polishing service.
